Web-based workflow solution for automating the education bonus
The “BildungsBonus Digital” project involves the complete redevelopment of the existing Bildungsbonus web application. It integrates education provider data via web services, digitizes application reviews, and replaces manual processes with automated workflows. Key features: verification mechanisms against the member database, automated calculation of the subsidy amount, configurable rejection and confirmation letters, import interface to financial accounting, and flexible subsidy model management. The application meets UI modernization requirements and supports internal maintainability through comprehensive configuration options.

The Chamber of Labor for Upper Austria (AKOÖ) represents over 690,000 members. With numerous services and direct benefits – including the education bonus – it actively supports its members in continuing professional development and contributes significantly to social security in the region.
Key figures from the customer's perspective
Over 12,200 applications have been processed since November 2022.
Of these, around 8,800 were submitted using the short application form and around 3,400 as long applications.
Six different education providers are already integrated.
Confirmations to applicants are fully automated.
